Get acquainted with towering dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts in the DinoDigs hall, the fossil collection of which showcases some finds from right here in the Sunshine State. Unleash your tool-wielding creativity in The Hive: A Makerspace, and delve into the nitty-gritty of sustainable agriculture in Food Heroes. The NatureWorks hall offers a virtual trek through Florida’s astonishingly diverse ecosystems, while KidsTown stimulates the imagination of younger visitors up to seven years old.
Educational films with supersized razzle-dazzle await each day in the Orlando Science Center’s two theaters: the giant-screen Dr. Phillips CineDome and the high-def Digital Adventure Theater. There are plenty of demonstrations, talks, and other live events on tap as well.
