Plan your autumn vacation in Orlando at The Celeste Hotel

Pumpkin Earth colors in fall to remind of Halloween and Thanksgiving.

Fall is a fantastic time to escape to Orlando, Florida with us here at The Celeste Hotel! The weather’s perfect, the seasonal festivities stacked on the calendar, and—as always—our signature Tribute Portfolio hospitality absolutely pitch-perfect.

Now’s the time to book your autumn getaway to Central Florida with a guestroom or suite right here at The Celeste. Here are a few ideas for things to do around the City Beautiful while enjoying our peerless accommodations and amenities!

Halloween Events

Orlando knows how to mark All Hallow’s Eve, to put it mildly. Indeed, some of the most renowned Halloween festivities in the country go down in our neck of the woods, not least the all-out frightfest that is Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando. SeaWorld also pulls out the stops, scare-you-out-of-your-socks-wise, with Howl-O-Scream.

But there are plenty of tamer, more kid-friendly Halloween happenings around Orlando if you’re staying here at The Celeste Hotel with younger children—or, understandably, if you yourself aren’t too keen on the freakier end of the holiday spectrum. Examples include Mickey’s No-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to Gatorland’s Gators, Ghosts & Goblins, LEGOLAND’s Brick or Treat, and Avalon Park’s trick-or-treating Spooktacular.

Halloween season and vibes also overlap with Day of the Dead celebrations, with CityArts Orlando’s Día de los Muertos & Monster Party a local case in point.

Orlando-Area Pumpkin Patches

Sure, there are more glossy-green palm trees than brilliant fall foliage in our neck of the woods, but that doesn’t mean timeless fall pleasures aren’t a dime a dozen here in Greater Orlando. And there aren’t too many more deeply satisfying autumnal activities than visiting a pumpkin patch.

With luxurious digs at The Celeste Hotel, you’ve got a number of options on that gourd-heavy front, including the equestrian destination Painted Oaks Academy’s own Pumpkin Patch, open October 8th through the 31st, with the “Pumpkin & Pones Festival” underway on the weekends with live tunes, pony- and hayrides, food trucks, and other associated fun.

And ahead of the yuletide busyness, Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest in Eustis, Florida is hosting its own pumpkin patch in the form of A Lot of Pumpkins, underway on weekends from September 23rd through October 30th.
