Here at The Celeste, we’re proud to serve the University of Central Florida as the only luxury hotel on campus. That’s not the extent of our partnership with the school, however.
Our space-themed Tribute Portfolio hotel in East Orlando features some suitably skyward-focused artwork by some incredibly talented artists from the UCF School of Visual Arts & Design (SVAD). You’ll find these evocative prints, as well as information about their creators, in each and every one of our guest rooms and suites.

We couldn’t be more honored to feature these UCF SVAD pieces, which both reflect our celestially oriented ambience and spotlight the creative vision and technical skill of these outstanding young artists. The space- and celestial-focused theme of the artworks also nods to UCF’s deep heritage as a space-grant college—established in 1968 and now the largest university in the Sunshine State—just a stone’s throw from Florida’s Space Coast.

Awarding degrees and certificates at both the undergrad and graduate levels, SVAD offers a diverse spectrum of programs: from sculpture and ceramics, printmaking and book arts, and graphic design to art history, architecture, and animation.
As a guest of ours here at The Celeste Hotel, you’ll not only enjoy SVAD artwork in your room or suite: You’ll also be just a short and pleasant stroll from the much-recommended UCF Art Gallery. Open Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 5 PM and on Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM, the UCF Art Gallery offers free admission and a fine representation of the school’s talent and scope. Coming up April 21st through April 28th, the gallery will be presenting Ascendance, the Spring 2022 BFA Exhibition, which will be featuring senior undergrads with a specialty in experimental animation.
